Can I swap the motor from a model 137.218020 table saw into a model 137.248830? These are 10" Craftsman table saws.

I own a model 137.248830 Craftsman 10" table saw with a burned up direct drive (3 HP)motor. The trunnion mount is very specific on these table saws, and I need to know if the motor from a used 10" (3 HP) Craftsman saw of a different model no. (137.218020) but same direct drive style, will retrofit into my table saws trunnion? The books may have it wrong, but a service tech with "hands on experience" would know for sure if she's a blond or brunette!

The motors won't interchange. You can't swap the motor from the model 1370218020 to the model 137248830. Good joke!!
