Manage My Life

What can we do with used ceiling fans & light fixtures? Some were new when we moved in this year.

We bought a remodelled home last fall with brand new light fixtures. We've replaced a few of them out of preference, and want to donate/recycle the lightly-used ones if possible. We also replaced a very old ceiling fan, but are not sure how to dispose of it. Do you have any suggestions for donation or recycling/disposal centers that take these types of fixtures?

All I can suggest is contacting local charities or used material stores. Often effective: leaving the items by the curb with a sign "Free - please take".
