How do I unclog the ice chute in my GE Profile refrigerator?

I have checked the ice bin and it is not clogged and I have removed all the ice I can reach from the chute. It still seems clogged.

Without a model number for your GE Profile refrigerator, it is difficult to advise you on this problem. There are many different types of GE Profile refrigerators. Here are some general tips that may help:

Unplugging the refrigerator and taking off the front of the dispenser may help you reach ice that is clogging the bottom of the chute.

Make sure that the door of the ice dispenser is closing properly. If it is not, you could build up frost in the ice chute that will prevent ice cubes from dropping down.

If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details and the full model number of your GE Profile refrigerator.
