How do you replace a bake igniter in a Kenmore gas stove model 362.7345892?

I need to know how to replace the bake ignitor.

In order to remove and replace the bake igniter will require removing the oven floor. See image below.

Disconnect the power cord from the power source

.

Remove the two screws at the back of the oven floor.

Raise the rear of the oven floor, slide it backwards and then raise the front out of the channel and remove oven floor.

You should be able to see the oven burner and igniter. If there is another panel preventing you from accessing the burner and igniter, remove it too.

Disconnect the bake igniter harness plug and remove the mounting screws securing the igniter to the bake burner.

Reverse the procedure to install the new bake igniter.

NOTE

: The igniter is very fragile, handle it like eggs and do not touch the portion that glows red or you could shorten its life expectancy.
