Is there a reset button on this refrigerator?

My refrigerator stopped working and the ports are plugged with ice which I'm defrosting now. There is a burnt motor smell in the freezer yet the motor still works. However, the refrigerator does not come on. Is there a reset button or could the compressor be out?

There is probably no reset button on your refrigerator but if it has electronic controls,it can probably be reset. Most control boards can be reset, by unplugging the unit for a few seconds and then reconnecting it. Unfortunately without a model number, I can't access any information about your refrigerator. The burnt smell could be from the defrost heater and the compressor has to be ok, if you have an icing condition. For specific information about your refrigerator, you can resubmit your question with more details and please include a complete model number.
