What is wrong with my Kenmore model 665.13123k701 dishwasher when the door does not stay closed?

Is there a online repair manual or some thing similar so I can understand how to access the handle and latch.

This can be a difficult problem to diagnose. There were some previous model dishwashers where the door popped open and the latch and strike were both changed to a newer design.

Your dishwasher already has the new and improved latch W10077360 and strike W10077370 so we'll discus some other things that might cause this problem.

The vent in the door must be open at the beginning of the cycle or the pressure can cause the door to pop open.

The inner door or hinges can be slightly bowed and cause this problem. If you have little ones running about the house they can sometimes sit on the door and cause this problem.

The directions to remove the door and access the latch are in the image below.

Lastly make sure the door is completely shut at the beginning of the cycle. The door will require a little more push to close it until gaskets get pushed in and formed by the door closing. When you push the door shut you should hear a click when the latch latches.

I hope this information helps to resolve this problem but submit a question with any additional details for further assistance.
