How do you adjust the door/hinge on a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #253.67872504?

I would like to adjust the refrigerator door because it is not sealing well on the bottom and the handle is off center.

Normally leveling the cabinet will also adjust the door. Most of the time, just leveling the cabinet, takes care of this problem. If the door still needs to be adjusted, there is a shim kit # 5303918375 that can be installed. This kit is available at

Sears PartsDirect

. Another possibility is to take the bottom hinge off and elongate the holes, so it can be adjusted. Both doors have to be removed to get the bottom hinge off. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.
