Where can I find an owner's manual for a Sears (not a Craftsman) 3 Ton, green, Auto. Floor Jack model 328.12010?

So, forget the picture idea; I tried 5 times to upload 2 to 3 pictures, of low KB and the thing just sat there spinning for 30 to 60 minutes!

The serial number for the jack is 09231 118. It was my dad's and is about 20 to 30 years old. Sears is a big company, you must have this manual in your archives somewhere. It needs new seals, so I need a parts break-down so I have some idea how to take it apart. I have no idea what my Dad did with the original. I remember my Dad always bragging about how this thing had a lifetime warranty. If so, then why can't I find any information on it?

I am sorry to hear that you had a problem inserting a picture into your question. If you ever need help with any feature on our Manage My Home website, please call our Manage My Home Member Services Team at 1-800-803-6775, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central Time. They will be more than happy to help you with problems submitting pictures or any other feature on our website.

Even with a picture, I am not sure that we will be able to find the information that you are looking for on this floor jack. I have checked our parts information system and I do not find a floor jack matching your model number.

Typically, owner's manuals and parts are available for an item for about 15 to 20 years. Some parts can be available for longer on certain items. On this particular item, I do not find information based on the model number and description. Since the floor jack is 20 to 30 years old, it does not appear that we have the parts or information that you are looking for on that particular model.

There are owner's manuals available for similar models of floor jacks through the

Sears PartsDirect

website. The models that are appearing in our parts information system are: 328.12290, 328.12291, 328.12220, 328.12190, and 328.12061. You can view the parts diagrams and order an owner's manual for these models on the

Sears PartsDirect

website. These models have parts listings but the parts do not appear to be available even though the parts list diagrams are accessible.

If you have questions regarding the warranty on the floor jack, I recommend that you call the Sears National Customer Relations line at 1-800-549-4505.

I have the same jack. I can make a copy of it if you would like. It has an diagram and breakdown of all the parts. If you cannot get the parts from Sears, I would take it to a shop that repairs hydraulic cylinders and see if the can get a replacement seal/packing.

To all,
Need some help identifying an old school floor jack. I purchased a Sears 2 ton, model 328.12040, in 1972. It has served me well for forty years.

Last summer I had the opportunity to purchase the “big brother” to this jack. I believe to be a 4 or 5 ton. Unfortunately the identification label is gone.

Can anyone validate the tonnage and part number of this other Sears jack for me?
