How do you remove the top of a Kenmore gas range to get at the pilot lights?

When we had the house cleaned recently I think the pilot lights on the range must have been doused as 2 burners will not light unless you use a match. The range is a Kenmore model 790.75752100 and I think I have to remove the top to get to the pilots, and I can't find a manual that covers how to remove this it does not just lift up like some other ranges.

Your gas range does not have standing pilot lights; it uses an electronic ignition system which causes a spark to jump between the electrode and the burner base to ignite the gas. You should hear a clicking noise when any of the 4 burner switches are turned to LITE position and all 4 electrodes should spark. The likely failure is either the burner cap is not positioned properly or the burner ports are clogged preventing gas to flow towards the spark electrode. It could also have damaged electrodes.

I do not recommend raising the top unless you absolutely have to. If the two burner electrodes are not sparking at all then you may want to raise the top to see if the wires came loose at the electrodes. I added instructions in the image below.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.
