Why does my Toro snowblower start, but does not stay running unless I keep pushing the prime button?

It is a Toro s-200 mod.38130 serial 9013801.

If the gas in the snow thrower is less than 5 weeks old, the carburetor is stopped up. The fuel or air passages in the carburetor stop up with old fuel from previous uses and don't let the fuel from the tank get to the engine.

If the fuel is fresh, you need to replace the carburetor.
