Why does my Kenmore gas range have a high pitched sound when the oven is on?

My Kenmore oven emits a high pitched sound/whistle type noise when it is on. Some people have a hard time hearing this noise; others think it’s the worst thing they've ever heard! I've heard it has something to do with the flow of gas. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

I’m sorry; you forgot to provide us with the model number of your Kenmore gas range. We need the model number in order to access the service material & other related information. It sounds like you are correct to suspect the gas flow. I recommend calling a service company to come & check the gas pressure.

Please resubmit with a complete valid model number for further assistance.
