Do we have to write thank-you notes for people who helped us in little ways?

A lot of people helped us in little ways, even if they didn't give us a gift. Do we have to write them thank-you notes?

You should write thank-you notes to anyone who helps you with the wedding. That could be a neighborhood teen who watches the house during the ceremony or your cousin who drove home the bridesmaid whose sister left with the car keys. If someone took your out-of-town aunt to dinner or let your sorority sister crash at her apartment, consider giving a small gift along with a note. A gift certificate to a coffee shop, some lotions and soaps or some cute note cards would be thoughtful gestures for not a lot of money.
