Hi Ruben. I'm a certified health coach and nutraceutical consultant. I might be able to help you with your specific needs. I believe there are some universal nutrients we should all look into getting, such as a good multivitamin/multimineral supplement and potent antioxidants from fish oil and plant sources. There are many products out there, so it’s important to choose the pure and effective ones to not waste your investment. To achieve optimal health though, I would also look into your health history, current lifestyle, and your genetic predisposition in order to recommend the customized supplementation that suites your body type. You can find tons of various advice for vitamin supplements. Most of this advice it good but it may not all apply to you. There are some basics that I recommend taking. Calcium and Vitamin D are important for bones and teeth. Vitamin C will help you resist colds or recover faster. Vitamin B-12 will help with energy. Various trace minerals are important. I recommend that you look for these essential components in a multi-vitamin supplement.

I take an organic blend of natural herbal supplements compressed in a multi-vitamin tablet with a vegetable base that is easy for my body to absorb. Along with a good diet and exercise, this helps me to stay healthy. I recommend that you look for an organic vitamin supplement that will help you in the same manner.

I also recommend that you discuss this topic with your physician during your yearly physical. Discuss the vitamins that you intend on taking to make sure that they will not interfere with any medications that you may need.
