Why won't my Kenmore Washer 80 series drain?

I tried to do a load of laundry, and after the initial wash, the machine would not drain. I tried each wash cycle with the same result. Any help will be appreciated.

Why won't my Kenmore Washer 80 series drain?

With the model number you provided I was unable to access your washer.

If the problem is the washer will fill and agitate but won't drain or spin at all then most likely the lid switch is the problem.

If the washer tries to spin but it doesn't drain then most likely the drain pump is bad or clogged.

If the washer won't drain and you hear the motor humming then it’s likely the pump has seized up.

If the washer will fill, agitate and drain but won't drain after the rinse cycle then the timer can be at fault.

If you can please submit another question with the model number and any additional details about what it will do would help me give you a more specific answer
