Why is my front load washer, model 110.47532600, displaying an error code of T-21(F-21)?

Model Number: 11047532600

HLT3319630

Type 832

My front load washer started making a sound like rocks going around when the washer was on spin cycle.

We thought that maybe it was off balance or that it was jeans in the washer. Sometimes the noise was there and sometimes it wasn't. Now I got a code T-21 and the washer won't spin, of course it is full of clothes on the last cycle.

Please tell me what the code is and what part could be out so that I can order it.

Thanks, Karen

I think you might be referring to error F-21 which would indicate that the control detects the washer is not draining properly.

Check for excessive suds in the washer. The pump is not able to evacuate the water when there is excessive suds present. Use less HE (High Efficiency) detergent if necessary to avoid excessive suds.

A clog or restriction in the drain pump can also prevent the washer from draining properly. Drain all of the water out of the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Arrange towels and/or a shallow pan under the pump clean out filter at the bottom of the washer (with the washer unplugged and the bottom front service panel off). Remove the pump clean out filter by turning it counter clockwise and removing it from the pump housing. Remove any clog or restriction in this area.

This may allow the washer to drain properly. If not, you may need to replace the drain pump.
