mistakenly reversed car battery poles

now car does'nt start

When you say the car won't start does that mean the engine won't crank or cranks but won't start. If it won't crank you might have damaged to starter relay. If it cranks but won't start there could be damage to the main Control Module (Computer). Generally they don't react well to having the current reversed. Depending on the make and model of the vehicle other contrl modules could have been damaged also.
