Which garage door opener remotes do I need for my Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door opener?

I have a Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door opener. The only numbers that are on it are: 41A4315-7D and FCC ID#Hbw1127. The buttons are blue. We have just moved into this house and the previous owners took the remotes. The opener is at least 5 years old. I want to get new remotes to operate the doors but I am unsure which ones I need.

One of the numbers (41A4315-7D) that you provided in your details is the part number for the logic control board on the garage door opener. I cross-referenced the Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door openers that use this logic board. The model number of your garage door opener is one of the numbers listed on the cover of this owner's manual:

Owner's Manual

(click on the link to view the manual). The model number of the remote (with visor clip) for this garage door opener is 139.53879. You can order this remote from the

Sears PartsDirect

website. It is part 53879 in that system. I provided a photo of the remote in the image below.

Follow the instructions in the owner's manual provided above to CLEAR or ERASE all previous codes. Program the new remotes according to the procedures in the manual.

If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details.
