Why is my Kenmore washer leaking water?

My Kenmore HE2plus washer has a leak coming from the bottom. When the washer is running there is a water leak (small) under the washer. If you put your head to the ground in the center there is a screw, the screw is connected to a metal plate that covers the bottom. Directly behind the screw is a finger size hole. You can feel water there. Also, on either end of the front there is a smaller amount of water I have noticed on the floor underneath. There is NO water anywhere else. Hope there is an easy fix.

From what you’re describing it sounds like the outer tub has a hole in it. The only finger size hole on the tub is for the airdome assembly & this is sealed with an o-ring. You may need to pull the unit out & remove the back panel to see if you can get closer to locating the source of the leak. We have no known issues with leaks on this model. If you find a hole in the tub I recommend calling for warranty service; the outer tub should be covered.
