How can I recalibrate the incline on a ProForm treadmill model 745CS (831.299470) that does not change correctly?

I have a ProForm treadmill model 745CS (831.299470). The incline will not flatten to the lowest position. It is stuck in an inclined position at the highest incline. How can I recalibrate it so that the treadmill will change correctly and so I can move the incline to zero position for storage?

This treadmill was purchased at Sears.

The calibration mode is described in the technician information provided below for the treadmill. If the console will not calibrate properly, then components will need to be checked to determine the cause of your problem. A technician is normally needed to perform the proper live voltage checks needed if the treadmill will not decline properly to the lowest position. If you are advanced in technical skills, you may be able to diagnose and repair the cause of this problem yourself. NOTE: This information is intended for technicians. You should only use this technical data if you are completely confident in your ability to safely access and check internal components in the treadmill. Follow electrical safety guidelines.

Unplug the treadmill

when accessing internal components. When voltage checks are necessary, briefly plug in the treadmill to conduct the checks and then unplug the unit to disconnect electrical power as soon as live voltage checks are completed. Do not make contact with live wires inside the treadmill when conducting live voltage checks. Carefully review all of the technical information before beginning any checks on the treadmill.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
