If you don't change anything else about your current food intake and activity level, then yes, the additional calories from candy can add up and produce weight gain.

Keep in mind that this won't happen over night or from eating one piece of candy. It takes about 3500 extra calories to gain one pound of body fat; that's a lot of candy, but over time it can add up.

Maintain your weight and eat your candy too, by limiting your portions and decreasing your calorie intake from other foods and/or increasing your exercise to burn up the extra calories.
