How do I get the stuck cd out of my cd player?

I have a 2005 Dodge durango and there is a cd stuck in my cd player. The cd will play it just does not eject. How do I get the cd out and If I have to replace a part how would i do that?

I've had luck using another CD at an angle to pry the CD out. I also tried using a credit card but that wasn't very successful.

One tip I learned is that some car CD players (like mine) do NOT like "home made" CDs. They are slightly thinner than ones you buy and have a tendency to get stuck. I'm not sure if this applies to you but it is good knowledge for all. Good luck!

On this your going to have to take this to the dealer to have the radio removed sent out and the cd will be returned to you. Sorry wish there was a better way but unfortunately with the higher level of electronics the dealer is the only way to go.If you do get it out another cd will only get stuck again.Sorry, Mike
