Drive coupling replacement on an 80 Series Kenmore Washer

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

I have a Kenmore 80 Series model#110.23832100. The drive coupling between the washer and the electric motor is broken. I need instuction on how it disassembles for replacement, so that I do not break more parts trying to dissassemble.
Thanks,

The motor coupler is accessed by raising the console and removing the cabinet.

Remember to unplug the washer first.

The instructions to access the motor coupler are in the image below.

Remove the two end caps first and then remove the two screws in the corner of the console. The console will then flip up so you can access the two clips holding the cabinet.

I hope this information helps you complete this project but you can submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
