My New Balance exercise bike has an error code of E1. Tried replacing batteries, checking wiring, etc. Still get E1 code when bike is turned on. Help!

Purchased at Sports Authority about 4 years ago. Have been getting error code E1 every time I turn it on for several weeks now. Can it be fixed?

Hello Cmunsterman,
From my understanding the error code E1 has something to do with the electric computer. You must speak with the New Balance manufacture. Thank you!!

I don't have the technical data on this bike but I did find the owner's manual on our Manage My Life website. Here is a link for that manual:

. The troubleshooting from page 18 of that manual (also shown in the image below) may help you with this problem. Check the wiring harness as shown in the manual. If the wire harness is okay, you may need to replace the console.

How difficult is it to replace the console? All the wiring checks out fine. Do you know where to even look for a replacement console? I've been told that New Balance doesn't make the exercise bikes anymore...
