How do i reset the garage door opener after a power outage? I reconnected the clamp, but now when I try and open it I get a flashing light. Is there a reset

Craftsman Model 1395397 bout 8 years old.

Try unplugging the unit for 15 minutes and try it.

Although most of the time when there is a power surge and the opener is not protected with a surge protector 900 joules or higher the logic board will have gotten hit and will need replaced. Whether you replace or repair if it is this get a surge protector and this won't happen again.
