How do i reset the garage door opener after a power outage? I reconnected the clamp, but now when I try and open it I get a flashing light. Is there a reset

Try unplugging the unit for 15 minutes and try it.

Although most of the time when there is a power surge and the opener is not protected with a surge protector 900 joules or higher the logic board will have gotten hit and will need replaced. Whether you replace or repair if it is this get a surge protector and this won't happen again. You can get replacement parts at searspartsdirect.com, enter in your model number and a parts list will come up. Thanks BB

Hello, garage doors can be a little tricky to program and reprogram. Luckily, ManageMyLife has many helpful tools, if you don't have you manual handy you can go to the top of the page and click on the "manuals" button enter your model number and it will tell you how to reset your garage door. I hope this helps!
