I have a garage door opener, model HBW0777. What is the part number for the safety reversing sensors.

Sears reversing sensor on Model hbw0777 not working. Green light is on the sending unit, but not on the receiving unit. Have checked conductor for breaks. When I try to close door, opener reverses and light blinks repeatedly. Are there any other tests I can perform other than replacing the sensors?

Bob, The model of my unit does is not like 139.xxxxx. It is a sears unit with the model number as stated in my original question. I also thought this was a strange number, but I copied it directly from the unit. I will try your suggestion to test the unit. Thanks

The model of your craftsman opener will look like (139.xxxxx). If you go to searspartsdirect.com and enter your model number in then a parts list will come up with the right ones for your unit. You can cut the bell wire on both sensors and hook them up directly to the terminals on the motor head to rule out wire damage. Thanks BB

Hi, garages are very handy and safe places to secure your car or even use as a storage. Whenever I need help finding a part or part number I always go onto the Sears Parts Direct website. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!
