Without a model number I can only give you general information on your power washer.

When the power washer won't build pressure it is usually because the orifice in the nozzle on the wand is restricted.

Remove the nozzle and run the pump motor to flush any debris from the pump and hose. Remove the nozzle and clean the orifice with a small wire.

If the nozzle is restricted the bypass valve in the pump opens and water is circulated through the pump to prevent excessive pressure.
