HOW DO I GET RID OF ROACHES IN HOUSE WITHOUT HARMING PETS?
A few months ago I helped someone move to a smaller home so I put a good bit of their belongings in storage in a spare room. Since then my home has become infested with roaches. I have indoor pets and small grandchildren and don' want to use harsh chemicals or poisons that may harm them. How can I get rid of these roaches without endangering my pets or grandchildren?

A couple of roaches is different from an infestation. After much research and thoughts about pest control, most use some form of chemical treatment that can be harmful to children and pets. The advice is when using these products, remove everyone from the house for a weekend and let exterminators do what they dog best. I'm attaching a link to a roach bait that appears to have no chemical components. It's from a veterinary web site. When you use bait traps - even safe ones, you have the ability to hide them in secure places away from children and animals, remove and disgard them when done. I hope this helps.
