My dishwasher use too much Rinse Aid...

My dishwasher is a Kenmore Elite Ultra Wash model 665.7796. I bought it 2 months ago.

The problem is that I've to fill de dispenser with Rinse Aid every time I use the dishwasher. This one is always empty. And the "setting" is at 2. In the manual, they say that one filling is supposed to last at least a month... I'm far from that.

Thanks!

Edith

I can see how having to use rinse aid every time you wash your dishes can make you think there is a problem. I researched your question and found someone had a similar problem. Here is what was posted by an expert, I have provided the link below. I hope this helps!

You certainly seem to have a problem with the rinse agent.

As long as the cap is tight then the fix to this problem will be to replace the dispenser assembly. No individual components of the dispenser, except the cap, can be repaired or replaced.

If bought two months ago then I'd let a technician check and repair this problem. It is also a good do-it-yourself project but at two months old I'd let a technician do the repair.
