I have a kenmore elite double oven--wanted to know can you use one oven why the other is in the self cleaning mode--also can I use the other oven for anything ?

The model no. is 79048143801---I attempted to turn on the self cleaning mode on both ovens and that did not seem possible, I waited and operated the self cleaning mode on the bottom oven this morning--I wanted to turn the top oven to warm mode, it would not start, only a beeping sound, checked the manual--did not mention whether or not the if both ovens could clean at the same time or if one is cleaning you could not do anything with the other. Regretfully, this wasn't a question asked prior to purchase.

You can not place both upper and lower ovens into a self-cleaning cycle at the same time. You also can not use the other oven for baking or broiling whenever the other is in a self-cleaning cycle.
