My tub is peeling because of the poor job the management did of resurfacing it. What are my options (they refuse to take responsibility) as to fixing it?

Since you are going to have to fix it yourself, you can try to find a kit that will repair poor resurfacing job. Your local hardware store will likely have a repair kit for the type of tub that you have. If this does not work then you may need to replace the tub.

I should have mentioned that I own a co-op and I am responsible for fixing this. Even though they did a poor job of resurfacing it, just to get it done to sell it. There were a lot of "quick fixes" I discovered AFTER I moved in, but this one is the worst.

Here is some information from FindLaw.com regarding the habitability of rental properties:

The Legal Standard for Repairs: Warranty of Habitability

. Here is some more specific information on getting your landlord to make repairs:

Getting Your Fix: Tenants' Rights to Minor Repairs

.

I hope that this information helps.
