How to remove the PTO clutch/pulley assembly for a zero turn mower.

How to remove the PTO clutch/pulley assembly from a ZTS 7500 mower (model 107.27790). I removed the bolt from the bottom but the pulley is stuck. Am I missing something? Do I need a special tool (i.e. pulley puller, etc).

After removing the bolt that holds the PTO clutch to the engine shaft, the clutch should pull off the engine pulley.

Spray the engine shaft with rust buster above the clutch and tap on the clutch with a hammer to help the rust buster penetrate.

If the clutch doesn't come off you need to start the bolt into the engine shaft and use a gear puller to remove the clutch.

Working with pulleys like this can be difficult whether it is getting them on or off. While you wait for the expert answer, a suggestion I have is to check the owner's manual. The diagrams are usually very detailed and clear. I attached the link to your manual below. Hope this help!
