Kenmore dryer model # 41788042700, started the dryer, turns for 10 seconds and the panel starts to flash and the dryer stops. Is there a code?.

The lights flashing most likely indicate an error code. While some dryers have displays where a clear cut error such as E1 would be displayed this dryer show error codes by blinking lights.

The image below tells how to read the blinking lights.

You can try to bring up the codes manually or see what code is displayed after the dryer shuts down.

The four indicator lights in a row will flash a number of times then repeat. This will be the first number of the error code. The start button will be the 2nd number of the error.

Try this first. It would help to find out what the control thinks is wrong.

I understand how inconvenient it can be to have a dryer that is not working properly, While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that will provide more troubleshooting tips. I hope this link is useful.
