It sometimes can be a inconvenience of just having the littlest amount of water residue in a dishwasher because then it eventually builds up creating a bigger issue, maybe even creating a leaking problem. I was searching for an answer to your question and noticed that someone else had asked a similar question, but unfortunately since you did not provide a model number I really couldn't find a brief answer, with a posted response from an expert. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing and getting some kind of an idea of what is going on with your dishwasher. Hope this helps, good luck!
Thank you. I can't find the model number on my dishwasher. I have the manual but it has six different models listed on it. Do I need to pull the dishwasher out to find it on the back of the dishwasher?
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for your help.
I found it!! kenmore model number 665
You found only the first three digits of the model number. Without having the complete model number I will not be able to provide any model specific instructions. Open the door and look around the edge of the tub. You should find the model and serial number tag. Provide us with the complete model number for model specific instructions.
Here is what I found on the side of the dishwasher: Model Number? 15832000 Serial: FL0207566 Stock No. 15832 Type: 280-1 Does any of this help? Thank you
In order to remove the filter (key#9) you must remove the impeller (key#11) and then the four (4) screws (key#10) securing the filter. See image below. I recommend draining all the water and then disconnect the power supply and remove the lower toe plate. Disconnect the drain hose from the pump and then remove the fitting (key#15) the drain hose was connected to. The fitting will unscrew by turning it counterclockwise (CCW). After removing the fitting it will likely have a restriction causing the incomplete pump out. Clean out the debris from the fitting and then re-install it and the drain hose and check operation.
The trouble I am having is removing #11 the black circle disc that has one bolt bolt. Which tool works best to remove that bolt like screw? I can see some .screws underneath the black cicle disc that I can 't remove. Thank you so much for helping us out.
Thank you. I'll see if any of my friends have that or I'll go out and by one. Thank you again. I'll keep you posted what I find.
