Frigidaire glgfs66cbb oven doesn't heat on "bake". Preheat light stays lit & we smell gas- oven gets warm not hot. Stovetop & broiler work fine.

A few months ago, the problem started - sometimes the oven would heat to the set temperature after waiting for a long time, but now, it only just gets warm, preheat light stays lit and oven never gets hot. Broiler works fine and so do the stovetop burners.

To test the ignitor and gas valve someone needs to test the voltage to the gas valve and ignitor. If you are getting 120 volts ac between the white wire on the oven safety valve and the yellow wire to the ignitor and the ignitor is not glowing, replace the ignitor. If the ignitor is glowing someone needs to read the amp draw of the ignitor. If the amp draw is 3.4-3.6 the ignitor is good and the oven safety valve is bad. If the amp draw is less than 3.4, the ignitor is bad.
