checking fluid level on 2 ton floor jack

I have an old 2 ton floor jack model # 2141200 & need to check / add hydralic fluid, where do I check / add fluid?

Thank you for your question.

* I can understand that you would like to check the fluid level in the floor jack.

* Servicing floor jacks is not recommended for safety reasons. If the jack is leaking and needs oil to be added, I recommend that you either get the jack service by a certified hydraulic technician or replace the whole pump assembly. Just adding oil and then using the jack could be potentially dangerous.

If you still want to check the oil the plug is usually on the side of the cylinder barrel.
