What is the temperature range of the oven (minimum & maximum settings)?

For the Kenmore Elite white 30-inch freestanding gas range model 78402 (item no. 02278402000), what are the lowest and highest oven temperatures that I can set? This would be for the upper oven, not the lower warming drawer. We do not own this range, but we have ordered one. It is scheduled for delivery this Friday 10/8. However, there is no manual posted on the web, the salesman (Hackensack NJ store) cannot find out (he says he called Frigidaire, the mfr., they can't tell him unless he supplies a serial no.), and the specs posted on the web do not provide this info.

Knowing your minimum and maximum settings for your Kenmore Elite Gas Range, is a very important thing to know. I was doing some research on your Kenmore Elite Gas Range and I found a question in Manage My Life under the Answers button that is similar to the question you asked. These two answers given by the expert might be useful, while your waiting on an expert answer. I attached the links below, I hope this helps!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Raquel. The second link especially is very helpful--it mentions that the oven minimum setting is 170 degrees. I hope that's true of the 78402 model we ordered. We have been disappointed to see other manufacturers reducing their range of settings. We own a 1997 GE Profile range that goes from 170 to 550 degrees; the new Profile models are only 200 to 450 degrees. Also the info in your link on the warming drawer is extremely useful. I appreciate your help.

The minimum temperature setting in the owner’s manual is 170 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum temperature is 550 degrees Fahrenheit. I hope this will help you.
