Is there additional troubleshooting I can do for a Flashing Clean Light on a Dishwasher?

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (Model 665.13742K603) that is less than a month old. It ran the first wash cycle successfully, but since then it only works half the time. It runs a Smart Wash for twenty minutes, then drains and continuously flashes the "Clean" light seven times, pauses, and repeats. If I press "Normal Wash" and "Heated Dry" three times it cancels the flashing "Clean" light, resets the dishwasher and allows me to run a normal Smart Wash cycle. The next time I run the dishwasher it repeats the twenty minute run and the flashing "Clean". I have a tech coming in about a week but was wondering if there is a simple answer/solution for this.

Getting an error code on your dishwasher can be very inconvenient that your dishwasher is getting an error code since this will keep it from working properly. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that will provide you with more information about your problem. I hope my link is useful.

Thanks for the link. I would have thought that if the heater circuit had an issue that it would repeat the flashing "Clean" after I cleared the control and restarted the dishwasher, but it doesn't; it will run one full cycle.
I know that I have 130 degree water entering the dishwasher, so low temperature water shouldn't be an issue.

If the dishwasher stops mid cycle and the clean light is blinking 7 times then a heater fault has been detected.

When you run the diagnostic test it will clear the error but if the heater doesn't heat the problem will repeat.

I suspect there is a loose connection since this is a brand new unit.

The only easy fix is to run the diagnostic but you have already tried this.

Since the unit is brand new I'd suggest waiting for service.
