How to clean new refrigerator door to remove discolored areas left by plastic signs.

My new Kenmore refrigerator (shiny black) was delivered this morning. The plastic signs that the manufacturer sticks on the outside of the door were removed but there is a (non-sticky) residue that does not wash off with soapy water. Instructions say to use only soapy water to clean the outside of the door, so I am hesitant to try something else. How do I get rid of the discoloration?

There are several products on the market for removing the tape or label residue from the refrigerator door without harming the paint.

You can buy these products from a large grocery store or a builder supply store. Get a product that won't damage an enamel surface and it will be fine.

Clean a small area on the side of the refrigerator before cleaning the front of the door.

It can be kind of scary using different cleaners on your appliance because you might damage the product. I have came across a handy link that can help you remove the residue left over from signs. I have attached the link below. I hope the link that I have provided you is useful!
