I have a samsung tv model hlt5676s I am getting little white spots all over the screen that won't go away what can I do to fix it myself

The white spots you are seeing on the screen are caused by the DMD board. DLP’s produce their image by having several microscopic mirrors that move to shine light or not to shine the light.  The white spots represent a mirror that is stuck “on” to show light all the time. The light that is shined on the mirror changes colors to make all the different colors on the screen. The DMD can be replaced, but can take several steps and a lot of patience. After replacing the DMD, it has to be aligned or the image on the screen will be misaligned.

Unfortunately, the part cannot be ordered from Sears.

I love TV but when it starts having problems with the picture not getting clear or spots popping up it can get a little frustrating especially when watching your favorite show.
