I know it can be frustrating when the icemaker stops working. If the icemaker just continues to cycle, the icemaker # 4317943 will need to be replaced. It's possible the water valve may also be defective, if the icemaker never fills. A good check will be to, pull the front cover off of the icemaker and you will see some test terminals (see picture). Now place a well insulated jumper between the L - V terminals and water should flow to the icemaker. Be careful this is a hot (live) check. If no water flows now but you can hear a humming sound, the water valve # 4389177 will also need to be replaced. These parts are available at
