why does my dryer continue to blow thermal fuses?

Thank you for your question. Without having the model number of our dryer I will only be able to provide general information. Generally speaking, the thermal fuse will fail when there is a venting restriction/blockage or if the dryer is getting to hot. If it's an electric dryer then it could have a shorted heating element causing the heater to stay on or it could have a faulty operating thermostat if it's gas or electric.

I can see how upsetting this would be to continually have the dryer blow fuses. It can be difficult to diagnose the cause sometimes. A suggestion I have to help the expert provide a better answer is to add the model number to this thread. In the meantime I found a previous expert post that has some checks you may be able to use. Hope you find the cause soon.
