What's wrong with my dishwasher door? Its very difficult to close.

The dishwasher door somehow shifted from the normal space between the bottom front panel and the door itself. The disher itself still works but the door is extremely hard to close. I have removed the bottom front panel but cannot find the problem. My best guess is that the door has somehow shifted up or down or out of the correct slot. The spring on the right side makes a loud squeaking sound when opening and closing.

This is likely a problem I can help you with but I will need some additional information. You can reply with a model number or brand of dishwasher for further assistance.

With a model number I can send you images and pictures showing how to access the door hinge and springs.

I understand how important it is for the door on your dishwasher to be opening and closing properly and I will be happy to help. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I recommend you resubmit your question and include the model number of your dishwasher so that the expert will provide you with a more detailed answer. I did manage to find a link that will provide you with more information about your problem. I hope my link is useful.
