what percent of active volcanoes are located in the ring of fire?

i had been asked this question in my science class and it is for extra credit. i just cant find anything on it for some reason.

The "Ring of Fire" has 452 volcanoes. To determine which ones are "active", we would first need to define what is meant by "active". For example, I consider active to be a volcano that has produced ash or lava flows within the last year. Others may consider "active" to be one producing ash and lave flows right now.

Currently, the USGS lists 3 volcanoes in "The Ring" that are on some level of elevated status. You can view that map

KILAUEA VOLCANO

is actively producing lava flows and ash.
