I have a Kitchen Aid Gas Range Model#KGST307HBS9 (don't know Serial #) that on the console nothing lights up. There are 2 control boards

and I'm not sure which on it would be. There is a Display Control Board/Timer, part #9782455 OR a Microcomputer Control/Power Board part #9782435. Could you please let me know which on it is? Is it too hard to switch out? Please advise. Thanks sooooooo much!

Knowing your own limitations is a sign of knowledge. I did some research and found an expert answer on an EOC replacement that may shed some light in this repair. If you decide to schedule service I attached the link to You will find both links below.

Thank you for your question and I understand your situation, however I will not be able to say with any certainty which board you will need to replace without making some voltage checks. It's more likely a Power Board failure than the electronic oven control board but some voltage checks will be needed in order to diagnose which one has failed.

I added some technical information and instructions in the images below.

NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltages unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so, otherwise I recommend calling Sears and setting up a service appointment to have a Sears technician diagnose and repair your gas slide in range.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
