If the ignitor is not getting red, the thermostat, oven safety valve, or the ignitor coulc be bad. You need to test the voltage between the yellow and white wires at the ignitor with the oven turned on. If you read voltage, the ignitor is bad.

If you don't read any voltage, test between the yellow wire on the ignitor and the white wire on the oven safety valve that comes from the range wiring. If you have voltage, the gas valve is bad. If you don't have any voltage, the thermostat is bad.

I hope this helps. If you are not comfortable testing voltages, you can go to [services.sears.com/shs/category/repair?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch] and get a Sears technician to repair the range.

You can see a parts diagram of the range and order any parts you need at partsdirect.com?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch.

If you want to repair the range yourself here are some tests you can run.

The pressure regulator has a shut off valve for the oven built in it. If anyone has done anything to the pressure regulator or oven safety valve, the shut off valve might be closed.

Check the ignitor inside the oven to see if it glows bright red when the oven is turned on. If the ignitor is red the oven controls are sending voltage to the ignitor and oven safety valve. Either the oven safety valve or the ignitor might be bad.

Someone needs to measure the voltage between the white wire on the oven safety valve and the yellow wire on the ignitor. The voltage should read 120 volts ac.

If 120 volts ac is being supplied to the ignitor and the oven safety valve and the ignitor is red someone needs to measure the amps drawn by the ignitor. The ignitor should draw 3.4-3.6 amps in order for the oven safety valve to open.

If the ignitor is drawing 3.4-3.6 amps and the oven safety valve is not opening, the oven safety valve is bad. If the ignitor is drawing less then 3.4 amps, the ignitor is bad.

Baking is always fun around the holidays and with the oven not working that can be a problem. You can find this kind of troubleshooting information is your owners manual. If you do not have yours, a handy thing about the Manage My Life website, is you can go onto the top of the Manage My Life website and click on the tab button then insert your model number into the search box. I have attached a link below so you can view. I hope the link that I have provided you is useful.
