Are both Carftsman 26" snow blowers 88691 and 88970 wired to add a headlight? How do I order? What is item number to order?

The sales associate told they would but on model 88691 had a connection wire and model 88970 did not. Not sure I believe him.

Thank you for your question.

This year's snow blowers did not come with the charging system to operate the light kit. If you do not see a single wire, coming out of the side of the engine you can not put a light kit on your snow blower. If your engine has the needed wire, you can order stock number 31368 from Sears.com.

I am sorry if you were misinformed.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Maybe something you should try is contacting a representative from the Sears Parts Direct website. You can call the number that is located at the bottom of the Sears Home Services page. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I have provided you is helpful.
