how do I reset my Maytag Quietseries 300 Dishwasher?

Maytag Quietseries 300 Dishwasher only has 1 or 2 green lights that will work and only quickrinse cycle works. The regular settings for wash do not light up or work. Most keys do not respond. Can this be reset by me? I tried shutting power off and then holding the lock key for 5 sec. did not work

If the dishwasher will run Quickrinse cycle then it will fill, wash and drain so the main control is most likely okay.

From the description you give there is a stuck or shorted keypad.

For this there is no magic reset button. You will most likely have to replace the console control board to correct this problem.

One thing to try first is to remove the console and disconnect the ribbon and then hook it back up and hope for a better connection.

If you can do this then replacing the console can be a do-it-yourself project.

Give me a reply with any additional information for further assistance. A full model number will help me bring up information specific to your dishwasher.
