Wall decals keep peeling off - What kind of glue can we use to stick them back on?

We bought some pretty wall decals for my daughter's room. Problem is most of them keep peeling off and falling. Is there some kind of glue or adhesive we can use to stick them back on without ruining the wall? Wall is freshly painted and clean.

Here are a few helpful tips for putting on wall decals:

Select an area on the wall for your decal and clean it before you apply the decal. Rub the wall with a dry cloth to take off dust and oil. Apply pressure as you rub.

Peel the decal off its backing carefully and try not to touch the sticky surface.

Place the decal on the wall. Use your hand to smooth the decal onto the wall and apply pressure to make it adhere.

Use an item with a straight, hard edge, such as a credit card, to make the decal smooth. Move the card from the center of the decal to the edge to squeeze out any bubbles that might have formed. If the bubbles remain, cut a minute hole with an X-acto knife and then smooth the card over the decal again to release the air.

Use adhesive products if the decal begins to peel off the wall in the future. Apply adhesive products to the edges and press the decal back into place. Products that will not harm your wall include adhesive sprays for mounting photographs and glue sticks.
