Cheesecake Decorating

Friends and family are always asking me to make cheesecakes. I would like to decorate them in other ways besides fresh fruits. I have been using cake stencils and colored sugar. Does anyone have other ideas? I've tried "painting" with frosting but the color tends to bleed on the cake due to the high moisture of cheesecakes.

Thank you for your question.

It sounds like to me you have already gotten a good start on the combinations of toppings.

How about a layer of some complimenting ice cream, whip crean, fruit in the Cheese cake instead of ontop, like baked apple and caramel combinations.

Nuts to add a salty contrast to the sweet Cheese cake or how about a nut streusel type toppings. The combinations are endless and I think you are well on the way to being a mini cheese cake factory.

I would recommend that you look at a Company called The Cheese Cake Factory for some inspirations.

With some inspirations and imagination you will come up will a signature recipe for a fantastic cheese cake.

My gosh, I think I just gained 10 lbs. Good luck and happy baking.
