kenmore washer model 110.45862400
Seems like my washer is working normal untill the water is all in the washer then it makes a sound like a buzzing sound it comes from the top left corner and it flashes F 06. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
I was told by Fred to run a diagnostic test after I pushed the buttons for the diagnostic test the following showed up.... C:00, C:01, C:02, C:03, C:04, C:05, C:06, C:07, C:08 came up and looks like water just keeps running. After it stopped the buzzing sound came on and the screen went blank. Please help!!

The codes you saw like C:00, C01...C06 and C:07 were not codes as much as they are the steps in the diagnostic test. What is interesting is the washer ran all through the test but you say the tub never turned. The F06 code you mentioned earlier is a drive motor error which ties in to the tub not turning in the test. I’m surprised you didn’t see it again. This is starting to sound like something a technician should look at but lets try one or two more things if you don’t mind the labor. Sometimes problems are clear cut and others can be harder to pin down. Remove the top of the washer and run the diagnostic again. Confirm the water is filling and check if the belt is broken. You might hear and locate the buzzing noise. I’m afraid it might be a relay on the control.

Let me know how changing the motor control goes.

I understand that you are getting the error code F06 on your Kenmore washing machine. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert I attached the link below for you to view while you wait on your expert answer. I hope the link that I provided is helpful.
